My Ecowitt Wittboy weather station collects real-time data using wireless sensors, including temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind speed and direction, rainfall, and solar radiation. It also features a lightning detector. All this data is uploaded to the cloud, allowing remote access and sharing with various online services.

The "radar"

There is no actual radar here.
Aircraft continuously broadcast — openly — a great deal of data to prevent accidents, such as their position, altitude and speed, via ADS-B radio signals (Automatic Dependent Surveillance–Broadcast). These signals can be picked up by VHF receivers similar to those used for watching TV on a computer; the receivers decode the information and allow flights to be tracked in real time. Users also typically share the data they receive with public services.

The map on the right is centred on Tamallancos and shows flights passing within roughly 25 nautical miles. Click on any aircraft to see more details about it.

Sites my ADS-B receiver shares data with (and statistics): FlightRadar24 + FlightAware + PlaneFinder + ADSBexchange
